Condolences
My heart is so broken losing a sister friend and just an all round fantastic women. The many memories we shared working or just enjoying life. Her laughter I will always remember and our many long talks. My heart goes out to you Darryl and your family as I know how much she loved you and her family. Love you always Mar and to the family I will always be a friend. Thank you for letting me be part of her life. God Bless my Angel Mar.
I am deeply saddened by the news of Marlene’s passing and am truly honoured and blessed to have known her. I will surely miss the presence of a truly lovable and kind person. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marlene's family.
Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there.
I did not die.
RIP My Beautiful Sister
My sincere sympathy in this loss of a dear lady. She was so good to so many people. myself included. She always had time and patience and gentle kind words. Heaven has gained another angel.
May her soul rest in peace and may all of her wonderful memories help to ease all of your hearts and minds and souls.
Darryl and family.......I am so very sorry for your heartbreak and your loss of your Marlene.....I am grateful to have had her as my friend......gone but never ever forgotten.
Marlene will be dearly missed by our family! She was such a vibrant amazing woman who always lit up the room with her fun personality! I’m so blessed that I got to share a lovely meal with her, Darryl, my dad and our relatives over seas. That was one of the last times I spent time with her and I will always remember. She is such a fiercely strong woman and she will be remembered by many! Sending big hugs to all her family and friends. She is here in spirit forsure!
All our love,
The Canfield Family
Darryl and Family:
Words cannot express the sadness we are all feeling of the loss of our very dear friend Marlene. Her laughter was contagious, her words were honest, and her heart was full of love for her family and friends. She was a pioneer for volunteering in the community and with her friends. Her success with live on through the committees she helped and money she has raised. We are very proud and blessed that she chose us as friends to walk this journey with her.
We will surely miss the the presence of a truly loveable and kind person.

Darryl your heart must be broken. Mar will be missed by many. She was a great friend, a huge supporter of The Sanderson Center and Brantford. I was very fortunate to have worked with Marlene raising money for MS. From that we became good friends. We had lunch together just before Christmas, I will treasure that time. I have many fond memories. One that stands out is this past summer. Both of us needed to get out of the house so we went to Mohawk Park and had a picnic. We talked and laughed most of the afternoon. I will miss the special times, her enthusiasm and drive.
My condolences to you and your family
RIP my dear friend
Love you

The dear girl we know as Marlene, will always be near us and her beloved Theatre.
Her sparkle and laughter added to her beauty, and her generosity of spirit and warm-heartedness,
was known by many, through-out her professional and personal life.
We will miss seeing her,
but her loving spirit will be with us always...
Blessings and comfort to her family.

Daryl and family......When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now. I know it’s not easy to lose someone but at least we can cherish all the memories that were made in her lifetime. In this tough time, may sympathy and heartfelt condolences bring peace to you and your entire family.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Marlene through the Chamber. She was an exceptional woman! She always had a smile on her face and was always laughing. She brought positivity and more light into the room wherever she went.
She will be missed in the community dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.
I am in total shock. I followed Marlene's recovery on Facebook and read she went back to work. Marlene was an amazing person on so many levels. She gave everything she had to promote the Sanderson Centre and the Brantford Area.
A warm and caring person to so many people.
The world is less without her.
My thoughts are with family and friends at this time.
