Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, February 11th, 2016 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Peirce) for over 34 years. Loving father of Laurie (Jeff) Brooks, Toni (Kevin) Wilson, and Georgia (Chris) Peirce. Devoted grandfather of Jeremy (Deb), Cody, Marli, Kyle (Stephanie), Cheyenne (Scott), Cierra (Nick), Emma, and Avery, and 7 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother James (the late Gloria), and predeceased by his parents Gladys Marie Day and Albert Weldon Martin, his brother Frank (the late Teri), and his brother Ken. He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, his friends, and his 5 little companions (his dogs). He was a long time member of the Ontario Harness Horseman Association. Friends will be received at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St., on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. A Funeral Service be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
