AULSEBROOK, Mamie Elaine (nee Wray) - Passed away October 24th, 2008, at the Stedman Community Hospice. Born at Brandy Creek near Windham Centre. The daughter of Burleigh and Janie Wray, she was the youngest of thirteen brothers and sisters. The loving mom of Jeannie Herriman (Kirk), Tom Aulsebrook (Kathryn) and Carl Barkley (Christine) and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The dear friend of the late Mr. Bill Marshall who cherished her love, help and company. She was the "daughter he never had". Marnie found peace and solace in her garden. It represented the life lessons of nurturing, patience and responsibility, which she passed on to all who knew her. She gave countless hours helping those she loved; as well as many who otherwise would have had no on else. Special thanks to all at the B.G.H. Oncology Department, CCAC, Aberdeen and the Stedman Community Hospice. At Mamie's request cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, on Thursday, October 30th, from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
