Obituary of Margaret Gear

Please share a memory of Margaret to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Gear, Margaret - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Margaret born in Manchester, England April 21st, 1925 in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband Thomas of 76 years and her granddaughter, Michelle. Mom leaves behind her children Allan, Malcolm (Evelyn) and Brenda (Dave). Loving grandmother to Trevor, Krista and Tom. Great grandmother to Ashley, Jesse, Nico and Krista’s children whom she never had the pleasure to meet. She also leaves behind her great great grandchildren Reese and Maximus. Mom was in the Royal Artillery Regiment in World War II as a spotter of enemy planes along the coastline of England. Mom loved her tai chi and was dedicated to it for 30+ years. She was a kind, understanding caring lady to everyone she met and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Her smile lit up a room and I will miss that smile forever. Mom, you will always be close to us in our hearts. We would like to thank The Stedman Hospice for their wonderful care and understanding to mom and the family during this difficult time. Also we would like to thank the staff of Amber Lea for all their care and understanding, especially Ruby and Keith. Family and friends will be received at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson, St. Brantford, 519-752-2543 on Tuesday, January 14th, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 am. Funeral service will commence in the chapel at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stedman Hospice or Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
