Guy, Catherine - passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the age of 70. Loving mom of Richard (Lindsay) and Jason (Summer). Cherished grandmother of Jaron (Duncan) and Quinlan. Survived by her sister Barbara and sister-in-law Merlyn (predeceased brother Larry). Fondly remembered as “Ducky” to nephew Ewan (Toni) MacLeod. She will be sadly missed her life-long friend Angie (Guy) Mitchell and family. Cathy was an avid reader, she enjoyed the challenge of Crosswords and Suduko, and completing tabletop puzzles. She enjoyed her quiet peaceful life, and was given the most joy when family could get together for celebrations. Graveside service will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery, 169 Charing Cross St. Brantford, on Monday June 3rd, 2024 at 11:00 am. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. Brantford, 519-752-2543. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. They also ask if you’re able, to please consider donating blood with Canadian Blood Services as Cathy relied on many generous blood donors with their life-sustaining donations. Thank you to the comforting care by the staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre and Brantford General Hospital.
