VAJDA, Zoltan It is with sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of Zoltan on February 29, 2024 at the age of 75, at home in Turkey Point having lived the last of his nine lives. We hope this brings a smile to the faces of family and friends who knew of his numerous surgeries and many health issues over the years. Beloved husband of Nancy Wilson for 27 years. Loving father to Sandi Young ( Jack Gibson ) and Erika Pluck ( Graham ). Pre-deceased by his son Tim who passed July 1, 1998. Father Jozsef, 1995 and Mother Julianna, 2022. Cherished and proud Papa to Heather and Julia Torti. Brother to Tibor ( Rosemary ). Brother-in-law to Joan Brown ( Wayne), Ruth Riley ( Don ), Pat Fowler ( Jim ), and brother-in-law, Arthur Wilson, deceased 2017. Zoltan will be fondly remembered by extended family members, co-workers and friends in Brantford, Turkey Point, and Cleveland, Ohio. After a long career as a tool and die maker and CNC programmer, he retired to his beloved cottage in Turkey Point where he rebuilt his dream home with his fur babies, Stella and Mavis with occasional visits by Rosie and Eva. He continued his lifelong hobbies of hunting, fishing and boating which he passed on to his Granddaughters to carry on. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 4th, 2024 from 11:30 - 2:30 p.m. at Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, Brantford, 519-752-2543. A private burial with immediate family will follow. In conclusion, true to his style he passed on the extra day of the year. A bonus day for us to celebrate the legend of Zoltan.
