Plant, Marilyn Joan (Robinson)- Passed away suddenly on Monday, December 6th, 2021 in her 80th year. Fondly remembered by her brother George Robinson (Diane), nieces Tammy, Debbie and Corrie, nephews Gordon and Jason, 2 grand nieces, 4 grand nephews and her many devoted friends. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Melville and Bessie Robinson (nee Elliott), brothers John and Donald Robinson and sister Linda Sutton (nee Robinson). Marilyn worked for Crown Trust Bank and later for the Brantford Expositor until her retirement. Marilyn was an avid bowler, winning many trophies and prizes through the years in her bowling leagues. She loved family gatherings, her hair styled by Linda, Swiss Chalet with Jackie and an occaisional trip to the Brantford Casino or Sanderson Center for a night on the town. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. At the family's request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held with a memorial service in the late spring. Arrangements are entrusted to the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, 519-752-2543. Donations to Marilyn’s favorite charity, Stedman Community Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
