Obituary of Nicholas Balog

Balog, Nicholas - Passed away suddenly on Friday, September 24th, 2021 at 93 years of age. Reunited with his wife Kay (2021). Loving father of Larry, Philip, Peter and Cindy. Cherished grandfather of 18 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Sadly missed by his sisters Stella and Elsie. Survived by sister in laws Sharon Minns, Anne Minns, and Faye Mannen. Reunited with his son Shawn and parents Peter and Mary. Nick worked for Domtar for 47 years. Nick and Kay spent every summer at the cottage that they had for 50 years. In his spare time he enjoyed wood working, volunteering at his church and was active in the Brantford walking club. He will be fondly remembered by many friends and all who knew him. At his request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
