It is with great sadness that the Yetman family wishes to inform you of the sudden passing of John Yetman, 66, on June 21, 2021. He is deeply mourned by his loving wife of 43 years Deborah, son John and daughters Michelle and Joanne, son-in-law Daniel, daughter-in-law Allison, and son-in-law Eric. John was tremendously proud of his grandchildren and he will be deeply missed by Michael, Emily, Isabelle, Connor, Mathieu, Sara and Dylan. John is survived by his brothers Gerald, Paul, Eddie, Barrie, Sean and his sisters Cavell, Valerie, Debbie, Tina, Marlene, Roxanne and Beverly and their spouses. John will be lovingly remembered by his brother-in-laws Don, Brian, Edward and sister-in-laws Lillian, Geraldine, and Sandra and their spouses; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends. Originally from Bell Island, Newfoundland, John is predeceased by his parents Edward and Louise, and his brother George. John loved a good laugh, a bottle of beer and a game of cards. Family and friends were always stopping by for a visit and could often times find him organizing his shed or sitting on the couch watching political debates on television. Everyone who knew John has a story of his humour, kindness and loving nature. These memories will be cherished. Family and friend will be received on Saturday June 26th, 2021 from 2pm-4pm at Hill and Robinson Funeral Home 30 Nelson St. Brantford, 519-752-2543. Due to Covid-19, face coverings must be worn and social, physical distancing must be adhered to. His remains will be put to rest on Bell Island, the place that he loved, at a later date.
