Strasser, Shirley - It is with profound sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Shirley on Tuesday, May 11th, 2021 at 81 years of age. Beloved wife of 63 years to Richard. Shirley will be dearly missed and never forgotten by Richard until they meet again. Loving mother of Lori Mannen (Bruce), Larry Strasser (Lise), Lorne Strasser (Rose) and Lisa Butterfield (Robin). Cherished Nana of Ashlee Charry (David), Matthew Mannen (Emma), T.J. Belanger, Ashley Belanger (Jennifer), Ben Strasser (Rachel), Will Strasser (Emily), Aleesha Strasser (Lee), Chris Strasser, Brandin Strasser (Scott), Tyler Butterfield (Laura), Jamie Butterfield (Jaylee), Kristen Butterfield and Jessica (Sam), Brittany (Chad), Alicia (Albert), Breanna, Caden, and Great Nana of Alora, Violet, Isaiah, Jacob, Theo and Sophia. Predeceased by her sisters Betty Laurien(Leo) and Norma Ivey (Paul). Predeceased by her parents Charles and Erma Allen. Shirley lived by the philosophy "life is for the living." She instilled the values of family and love to all of her children and many grandchildren, and took pleasure in all times spent with family. Her smile and love of life will be missed by all who knew her. At the family's request, cremation has taken place.
