My family and I would like to extend our Condolences. Kathy and I are cousins and we shared a lot of lovely times growing up. We played school a lot in the basement with all the lovely stationary that seemed always to be present! I was always the math teacher when it was my time to teach and being a bit older I hope it helped ... I’m not entirely sure if it did! Our Families would spend a fair bit of time together in the summer with backyard parties...there was a lot of great music and singing going on in those days. Uncle Mikey and Aunt Ruth would usually provide watermelon ...lots of it and Kathy and I would sneak away taking huge slices over to the park, sit on the swings and eat our watermelon and playing a game to see who could spit the seeds the farthest...we had some good laughs just being silly! There was a guy with only one arm that popped up here and there as well. I don’t remember his story but he seemed very nice. These are a few memories I felt you might like to hear of our growing up days.
