I met Gord at Iroquois Park one winter, he helped take care of the outdoor skating rinks, and also brought chips and other snacks. He was willing and ready to lend a hand. I believe he was working at Loblaws during this time. Everyone at the rink liked Gord such a nice guy....
I am sorry for the families loss. Gord was a kind, generous man who loved his kids so much. I think my most fondest memories of Gord were sitting in the backseat of a car watching him teach his son Corey how to drive. I think he loved and hated every moment of it but he never said no to a drive with his son. He would message me every year to wish me a happy birthday and remind me of the time he had open heart surgery on my birthday and how I told him nothing could happen to him that day because it was my birthday. Sending my love to the family
