I actually worked for John a couple of different times including that first video store you mentioned, Video Market. That was about 40 years ago. All these years later I still remember the laughs we had and the support that he gave. If you worked hard for John, he worked hard for you. I have had many bosses over my career but I will still remember John as being one of the good ones. He was a friend and just a good guy. After all of these years, I still have a business card from my job at the Video Market which just confirms how much both John and his business partner Mike meant to me. I have thought about John over the years, always with a smile on my face

One of the 1st people I got to know when I moved back to Brantford 42 years ago. He was one of the folks that enticed me join the Brantford Jaycees where I met Bill Underwood and so many other great people.

I'm so deeply saddened by his loss. My memories - under any and all circumstances - always a smile, wonderful attitude toward others and a joy to be around. He was a someone I'm so glad to have met and known.
