Obituary of Elizabeth Tree

TREE, Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Henderson) Passed away peacefully filled with the love of her family, on Friday, June 7th, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Much loved mother of Viki Tree and Susan (Kurt) Rose. Loving grandma of Jeremy Tree and Tristan Rose. Dear sister of Peter Henderson. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Betty was very active in the community with the Calbeck Crafters, the Beckett Building Bridge Club, the Burford Lioness, her Ladies Euchre Group, the Red Hatters, the Ontario Teachers Federation and she was a life time employee of the Grand Erie District School Board having served with them for over 30 years. Many thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the Brantford General Hospital and Hamilton General Hospital, ER, ICU, Heart Clinic and Palliative Care departments. Friends will be received at the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street 519-752-2543, on Saturday, June 15th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Betty's life. Donations to a Mental Health Charity of your choice or the Brantford General Hospital Emergency Department would be greatly appreciated.
