Obituary of Elizabeth Nowell

Nowell, Elizabeth Mona (nee Humphrey)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 5th, 2018 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Alfred Edwin Nowell (1985).  Loving mother of Alaine McGill (Dave), Ruth Toth (Bob) and Richard Nowell.  Cherished grandmother of Emily, Christy, Anne, Jamie, Ginny, Michael and Chris. She is survived by her sisters Barbara de Groot, Janet Farrell and Dorothy Sample.  Elizabeth was an active member of the Troy United Church, Troy Lynden Community Woman's Institute, Rockton World's Fair, Beverly Heritage Society, Copetown Wood Chippers, 4-H Homemaking Clubs, Troy Tweedsmuir History and Westfield Heritage Centre. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson St. Brantford, 519-752-2543, on November 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life to follow from 1:30-3:30 p.m.  The family would like to thank the Extensive Support Team, who allowed her to stay at home as long as possible.  In lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed to support a charity of your choice.
