Obituary of Ashley James Purdy

PURDY, ASHLEY JAMES ELGIN "JIM" - Jim Purdy of Brampton, passed away at Tullamore Care Community in Brampton Ontario. Born on August 20, 1935, in Brant County, Ontario. Jim is survived by his children Bruce, Earl, Karen Purdy and James Bath, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sisters, Margaret Willson and Mabel Dougherty. Jim is predeceased by his parents W. B. Bert and Candace (nee Cook) Purdy, son, Darrell, an infant son, brothers Walter and William Purdy, sister, May Hayward, brothers-in-law Fred Willson, Joe Hayward and Graeme Dougherty and sisters-in-law Louise and Doreen Purdy. Family and friends will be received at the interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 78 Painter Road, Onondaga on Friday, August 3rd, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a time of fellowship at the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, Brantford.
