Girard, Sterling "Buck"

It is with profound sadness that we share the loss of Sterling (Buck) Girard who passed peacefully, with his family by his side on July 4, 2018 at the age of 78. Husband of the late Julie. Loving father of Daniel (Edyta). Brother of Marion Scoyne (Harry), Gerri Flint (Peter), and Chester Girard. Predeceased by his parents Emile and Madeline, sister Gayle Sexton and brother-in-law Ken. He will be greatly missed by Daniel, and Buck's partner and best friend Judy Clugston. Buck, who grew up in Espanola, Ontario, enjoyed fishing and golfing (and telling stories about both). He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. Friends will be received at HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson St. Brantford on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
