I extend heartfelt condolences to the family of Garry. I mostly knew Garry through going to the track, with Serge, Brad and the "Boys". I spent enough time around Garry to figure out that he was a very good guy.
Though I have not seen him, more than maybe a couple of times, in the last 25 years, I can say that the first thing that came to mind, when I learned of his passing, is that Garry was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. It says a lot about a man, when the first thing that comes to mind, when you think of him is how good and likeable a guy he was.
