Shannon, Margaret (nee Fitzpatrick) Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard (2006). Cherished mother of David (Heather), Linda (Kent) Callan, and Jim (Sharon). Loving grandmother of Sarah (Mike), Michael (Carly), Carolyn (Dominic), Julie (Matt), Allyson, Aaron (Stephanie), Joel, Ryan, Jessie, and 12 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Henry (the late Audrey) Fitzpatrick, and her sister-in-law Maureen (the late Jim) Turvey. Predeceased by her parents Thomas W Fitzpatrick and Mary Ann (nee McMahon). She will also be fondly remembered by Joan, Janice, Mary Jane, Tom, and many other nieces, nephews and friends. To her friends at Tranquility Place, "Many thanks for enriching mom's life with your friendship and laughter." Friends will be received at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. Brantford on Sunday, January 8th, 2017 from 2 - 4 p.m. and on Monday from 9 - 10 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will follow in the chapel on Monday, January 9th at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice - Hankinson House would be appreciated.
