Walker, Margaret Edna (nee: Willits) - Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's LifeCare Centre on Saturday, July 16, 2016 in her 105th year. Born April 30, 1912 in Brantford to Edna and James Byron Willits. Predeceased by her husband Ernie William Walker (1977), sister Bernice Berry (Harry) and brothers Lorne (Muriel) and Ross (Vera). Sadly missed by loving nephew Philip (Wanda) Berry and niece Mary Berry (the late Lorne), Janice and the late (David Belleville), Gerry Walker (Karen) and Gary Walker (Marilyn). Great-aunt of Christine Young, Gregory Berry, Scott and Geoff Berry. Margaret was a regular attending member of First Baptist Church and appreciated the wonderful messages of music by the choir and organist and encouragement from the pulpit. She enjoyed the Red Cross "For Widows" meetings for almost 30 years. She also enjoyed bowling, baking cookies, games of bridge or euchre; and her flowers. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street on Saturday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Donations to the Red Cross, First Baptist Church or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated.
