Doug passed away in his 90th year on Sunday, March 13th, 2016, at the John Noble Home. Beloved husband of the late Diane Clement. Loving father of Douglas and Daryl Johnston. Proud grandfather of 4 grandchildren. Doug will be dearly missed by many cousins, extended family members and friends. The family is grateful for the remarkable care that Doug received from the staff of the John Noble Home. At Doug's request cremation has taken place and there will be no formal services but a "celebration of life" will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the HILL and ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, 519-752-2543. Donations to the John Noble Home Recreation Program or the Charity of your choice, in Doug's memory would be greatly appreciated.
