Churchill, Mary Susan (nee Cole) Mary's prayers were answered, to go home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, February 18th, 2016, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Churchill (1975), and long time companion of the late Howard Turnbull (2003). Loving mother of Sandra Mae Cassada, the late Shirley Marie (Sam) Stone, and Sharon Marlene (Vernon) Balcom. Devoted grandmother of Sarah (Gary) Loudermilk and Chuck (Tiffany) Stone, Michelle (Mike) Mason and Mike (Laurie) Cassada, and Jennifer (Mike) Jones and Christopher Balcom, and her great-grandchildren Boyd, Tie, Jeffery, and Katelyn. She is predeceased by her sisters Doris Crago, Donna Sibbick, Dorothy Floyd, Vera Henry, Helen Bonney, and her brother Bruce Cole. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many close friends. Mary was very active with many different organizations including Teeterville United Church, Teeterville Women's Institute, Teeterville Legion, and more recently the Smokey Hollow Community, in Brantford. At her request, cremation has been arranged through the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, (519) 752-2543. There will be a celebration of her life at the Smokey Hollow Community Centre, 118 Powerline Rd., Brantford on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at 3 p.m. Interment of ashes at Vanessa Cemetery. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation or the Stedman Community Hospice would be apprecated.
