Obituary of Judy Brown

Brown, Judy Passed away peacefully after a long battle with Dementia. Her children were by her side when she took her last breath on Thursday, November 20th at 12:28 am at the age of 69. Judy spent her last 8 years at Hardy Terrace Long Term Care Facility in Brantford, Ontario. We are thankful for the loving care that she received in this facility. Judy is lovingly remembered by her daughters Debbie, Lorianne and Sherry-Lynne, as well as her sons Lawrence and Michael. Judy is survived by her mother Lillian, her brothers Donny and Larry and her sister Beverly. Judy will always be remembered as a good neighbour and a caring friend. We remember Judy spending countless hours with women- supporting them in their sobriety and helping them get a fresh start in their lives away from years of domestic violence. Judy was passionate about her career in nursing. She enjoyed working for over 25 years at Beacon Hill Lodge in Thunder Bay - serving others. Judy also loved animals and was known for taking in all sorts of strays - anything from rats to a 3 legged fox - nursing them back to health. She taught us to be kind to those who were less fortunate, to work hard and that life is about doing the best you can with what you have. Judy will be missed by all whose lives she touched!
