LININGTON, James Roy "Jim" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, May 24th, 2011 in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Elsie Joan (nee: Freeman) for over 50 years. Loving father of the late William Franklin Linington (1958), Jim Jr. and his wife Sandi, Spencer and his wife Carol. Grandfather of Joseph and his wife Amanda, Nancy and husband Kevin, Kevin and wife Danjela, Tyler, Charlie, CJ and Amy. Jim was a Commander of the Order of St. John and brigade volunteer for over 30 years. He was also a retired letter carrier from Canada Post. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Stephen Iverson officiating. Cremation. Donations to the Work of the Order of St. John would be appreciated.
