Condolences
To Paul’s family. On behalf of my mother, my aunt and myself, I wanted to extend heart-felt condolences for your loss. Paul was a kind and generous man. My aunt used to live at 47 Memorial, and my mom still does, and both women were beneficiaries of Paul’s good will and kind nature. If I couldn’t get my mother on the phone, I could call on Paul and he would kindly check up on her for me. My aunt, whose health and memory were deteriorating, was able to stay in her apartment for as long as she did because of Paul’s efforts. He not only drove my aunt to her doctor’s appointment but also kept track of her follow-up appointments, among the many other things he did for my aunt. And no doubt other residents of 47 Memorial were also on the receiving end of Paul’s thoughtfulness, and because of him their lives were made easier. Even after he was diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing treatment, Paul continued to help others. His body succumbed to a disease, but Paul’s strong spirit didn’t. He will be missed by many.
Dear Marjorie & family: It is with a broken heart that I send you this message. Paul came to see Vic and I before we left for Arizona and we were thrilled to see him looking so good and being his joyful self. I had no idea that he was ill. We are leaving for home on Thursday, March 31st and I will contact you when I get back. Paul was a guardian angel to my Mum and I will never ever forget those acts of kindness and admiration that he had for her. She respected and enjoyed him. May all of his wonderful memories help to sustain you at this time of sorrow. He truly LOVED his family.
To Paul's family. I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was so helpful to many people at Southwick Place including me. He was so brave with his illness. Paul will be missed. RIP
