VERKLEY, Gladys "Joan" - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at the Brantford General Hospital. Loving wife of Ferdinand "Ferdy" Verkley for over 17 years. Dear mother of Sharon (Andy) and Alan (Helena). Cherished grandmother of Ian and Stephen; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan served in the W.A.F. following W.W.II in her majesty's Royal Air Force. At Joan's request cremation has taken place and a private memorial service is planned for a later date.
