PEIRCE, Ronald Wayne - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, September 24th, 2009, after a lengthy illness. He was 61 years old. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Doris Peirce, and his youngest sister Lorrie (1990). Ronald is survived by his daughters Tara (Mike Duncan) Peirce and Tanya (Bob Demers) Peirce. Only brother of eight sisters: Catherine (Earl) Embury, Bonnie Peirce, Jennifer (Terry) Patterson, Sally (Terry) Wasylyk, Susan (John) Szacki, Mary (Jack) Lewis and Nancy Gareau. Much loved uncle of nine nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces and two great-nephews, especially his great-nephew Lucas. He will also be missed by several cousins. Ron served as a peacekeeper in Germany with the Canadian P.P.C.L.I. and was an avid sports fan "GO HABS GO". The family would like to thank the nurses of C-4 at the Brantford General Hospital for all their hard work and kindness during Ron's illness. At Ron's request cremation has taken place and a private family service is planned for a later date.
