AYRES, Reba - Passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord, at the Park Lane Terrace, on February 9th, 2009 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late James Ayres. Loving mother of Pat (Wilt) Dawdy, Glenda (Bill) Pearson, Jim (Tess) Ayres, Carol (Bob) Wells, Keith (Laurie) Ayres, and Chris (Wilf) Ferrell. Devoted and much loved grandmother of many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her parents Blanche and Sherman Peterson, brothers and sisters Dodie, Verna, Glen, Ross and Keith, and her daughter Gwen (Ev) Rose. Reba will be fondly remembered by her family members and many friends. She was a long time member of St. Jude's Anglican Church, Brantford. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. on Friday, February 13th from 12 - 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to St. Jude's Anglican Church Memorial Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
