BURMAN, Ruth C. - Passed away peacefully with her twin brother Alfred by her side, on Saturday, September 20th, 2008 in her 89th year. She will be sadly missed by her nephews Neil (Rose), and Ron (Heather), her great-nieces and nephew, great-great-nephews and niece, and her many friends. She is predeceased by her parents Lewis and Rose Burman, her brother Ronald and his wife Freda and her niece Janet Anderson. Ruth served during the Second World War as a Wren in Nova Scotia, worked in Brantford at the Imperial Bakery for many years working in the deli. She was also a long time member of the Heritage United Church. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home, 30 Nelson St., on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Private Family Funeral Service will be held. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
