Obituary of Margaret Reid

REID, Margaret Anne - It is with very sad hearts that we share the passing of our Maggie, at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 in her 59th year. Margaret Anne Reid, treasured and adored by her niece Kimberley, husband Brad Swanson and their children Sarah, Christian and Keegan. Maggie will also be lovingly remembered by her nephew Robert (Robyn) Timmons, and their daughter Jordyn, and nephew Brian (Jessica) Timmons, and their children Brody, Keira, Abigail, and Etney. Predeceased by her mom Grace O'Leary (1971), and her dad Frederick Reid (1996), survived by her sisters Mary (Brian) Collins, and their children Joseph, Anne and Paul, and Philomena (Kai) Gade, and their children Laurie and Darryl, her special sister and kidney donor, Colleen Timmons, brother Dennis (Heather) Reid, their children Taylor and Lauren, brother Andre (Selina), his children Melissa and Jason, sisters Kathleen (Charles) VanDerWoude, their children Justin (Samantha), Aurora, Lachlynn, Rowan, CJ, and Kelsie, and Loretta McCormick, and her children Alexandra and Aleah. Maggie will be fondly remembered by her special friend, Harley Ryan. She was a dedicated life long employee of Sears Canada, where she was truly blessed with special friendships. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. on Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Friday from 1 - 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, and in honour of "Toopy" (her cat), donations to the S.P.C.A or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. In the end, knowing and loving each one of you over the past 2 weeks was truly the success story of my life. I am at Peace.
