JANSEN-VORSTER, Gerharda Henrietta - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, May 16, 2008, at the age of 96. Predeceased by her first husband Willem van der Zyl (1943) and her second husband Rudolf Jansen (1985). Loving mother of Ernest van der Zyl (Mirella) of Mount Pleasant, Johanna and Elizabeth of Quebec and the late Niek Jansen (1944). She is survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gerharda was very proud of her time spent with family and as a support and volunteer with various charitable organizations throughout Halifax, N.S. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 519-752-2543. Donations may be made in memory of Gerharda to the Brant S.P.C.A. or to World Vision of Canada.
