CURTIS, Violet "Vickie" - With Great Sadness in our hearts, Vickie passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on January 23rd, 2014, in her 92nd year, with her family loving family at her side. Predeceased by her husband Sidney Sr. her son Terrance, her Father William, her mother Mary, her sisters in London, England, her grandsons Jason and Michael, and her sons- in- law Bill and Lanny. She was our ANGEL with both feet firmly on the ground, Vickie was cherished and loved by her children Dianne, Keith (Tina), Elaine (Robert), Sidney (Cindy) and her many Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the rock in our lives. A loving, kind, gracious, trusting confidant and friend. We will miss her touch, voice, comfort, laughter, hugs and kisses but most of all her love. She REALLY knew what LOVE was. Truly, a most wonderful, special and unselfish person. We are so fortunate that we had her in our lives. Everyone will have their own special memories and she will be listening and looking after all of us. A VETERAN WAFF where she served her country England with pride in WWII, then came to Canada as a war bride in 1946. She loved "Her Canada". A private service with her loving family was held at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street. Donations to "War Amps Canada" would be appreciated.
ALTHOUGH YOU CAN'T BE WITH US, WE ARE TRULY NOT APART, UNTIL THE FINAL BREATH WE TAKE, YOU ARE ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS.
LOVE YOU FOREVER
