JULL, Alan Robert - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, December 30, 2013 in his 89th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Julia (2006) and his brother Norman (2011). Loving father of Robert (Janet) of Kirkland Lake, Karen (Bob) Atkinson of Guelph, Randy (Martina) of Paris and Marilyn of Texas. Loving friend of Shirley Buck of Brantford. Grandfather of Noel (Tiffany), Brian (Alicia) Atkinson, Aleah, Kathleen, Nathan, Jayden and the late Jeffery Atkinson (2005). Dearly missed by 3 great-grandchildren, Grace, Patrick and Theodore. Alan was a Certified General Accountant and served on many volunteer boards. He was the manager of Beaver Lumber for many years. He was a longtime member of the Brantford Shrine Club, Mocha Temple - London, Scottish Rite - Hamilton, Masonic Lodge - St. George, Heritage United Church and the Probus Club. He loved to curl and play golf. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, Brantford. At Alan's request cremation has taken place. A Private interment will have taken place at Farringdon Burial Ground. A public memorial service will be held at Heritage United Church, 360 Colborne Street, Brantford on Saturday, January 11th at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank both the staff of the Brantford General Hospital - Pallative Care Unit and of Charlotte Villa Retirement Residence for their caring and compassion. Memorial donations in memory of Alan may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
