RUSSELL, Donald William "Rusty" - At the Brantford General Hospital on, Sunday, November 3rd, 2013, at the age of 80. Dear husband of June (nee Cayley) for over 60 years. Special uncle of Barbara and her husband Bob Churchward. Predeceased by his brother Sam and sisters Lily and Violet. Don was a gas fitter with Moyer Propane for 30 years and later worked in the maintenance department at the Brant County Board of Education for another 20 years. Don was a horn player. He started at an early age, playing cornet in the Salvation Army Band and later joined the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 90 band and then the Telephone City Musical Society Trumpet Section for many years. Don loved his home and enjoyed his nightly pool games with Richard, Vern and Bill. He will be missed by all his friends and neighbours at Village Towers, for his quick wit and sense of humour. Many thanks to Dr. Lee and Jayne for giving Don more time.
