Obituary of Patricia Gamble

GAMBLE, Patricia (nee McIntyre) - Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Brantford General Hospital it is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia, at the age of 71, on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Predeceased by long time loving companion and friend Ken Moyer (July, 2013), her parents Alex and Jovita McIntyre, brothers Johnny and Joe, and her sister Chris. She is survived by her loving children Bobby (Debbie), Tina, and Jamie (Donna). Proud grandma of Joshua, Kelly (Mike), Samantha, Vienna (Matt), and Spencer, and her sisters Anne Brewer and Mary (Walter) Leigh, sister-in-law Joyce McIntyre, and brother-in-law Lyon Johnson. Patricia will also be fondly remembered by Todd Moyer (Stephanie), Beverly and Paul Danielson, and Sandra Moyer, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to two people who meant the world to our mother, special friends and sisters-in-law Patricia May, and Joyce McIntyre. We will be forever grateful for all of your love, support and devotion, especially in the last few months. Thank you to Cathy Cook for always keeping an eye on our mom. Thank you to the ICU Nurses. A very special thank you to nurse Nancy Smith for the unbelievable compassion you showed our mother as well as the family in preparing for her journey into the heavens. It was a great comfort to all. As per Patricia's request cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, (519) 752-2543. Please join us in a Celebration of Patricia's Life on Saturday, November 23rd, 2013 from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Brant Naval Veterans' Club, 54 Wadsworth St., Brantford. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Parkinson's Society or a charity of your choice.
