McCOLEMAN-BEAL, Elizabeth "Elsje" - Suddenly after a brief illness at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2013 in her 62nd year. Beloved wife of Wayne Beal, and the late Roy McColeman. Loving mother of Jacqueline (Jason) Dennis, and Leslie McColeman. Devoted grandmother of Kendra, Laura, Jack, Justin, Emily, Kelsey, Taylor, and Jackson. She is survived by her brother Les (Jacqui) deHamer. Elsje loved the arts, crafts, painting, puzzles, and cross-stitching, horticulture, and cooking, reading, and trivia games amongst many other things. She had a very witty outlook on life, was tough as nails, and very frank with her answers. Don't ask a question you don't want the answer to. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. on Thursday from 12 - 1 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday, at 1 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
