Cardy, Muriel - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, May 3, 2013 in her 90th year. Loving wife of John H. R. Cardy. Predeceased by her husband Carl Theodore Petersen (1976). Caring mother of Jean and her husband James Anderson, Beverly Petersen, Marilyn and her husband Carl Cheski, the late George Petersen and his wife Doris, Walter (Alice) Petersen, Donald Petersen and his wife Kelly, Bob Petersen and his wife Joyce. Muriel is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Viola, Jean and Eva and her brothers Hursel and Bob. Muriel loved to bowl with the ladies auxiliary from Local 458. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Dr. Barry Pridham officiating. Interment St. George Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
