Obituary of Margaret Young

YOUNG, Margaret Vera - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, March 16th in her 94th year. Loving wife of Barry. Devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to Wayne and his wife Judy, and their children Natalie (Taylor) Garner, Carrie (Brian) Moore, Scott (Chelsea) Young, Megan Young, and 4 great-grandchildren, all of the U.S.A. She is survived by her brother Bernard Brandon, of the U.K. Predeceased by her brother John and his wife Florie, and her brothers-in-law Trevor and Gordon. She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Marguerite and Ruby, and many nieces, nephews and friends in Ontario and the U.K. Margaret is a former member of the Overseas Wives Club, and volunteered many hours of care to the Special Needs Children of Brant. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St., Brantford on Thursday from 2 - 3 p.m. A Memorial Reception will follow at the funeral home from 3 - 4 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the S.P.C.A or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
