BROWN, Betty Muriel - After a courageous fight with a lengthy illness, Betty Muriel Brown of Brantford, passed away in her 75th year at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Hollowell of Brantford. Adored wife of the late William Carleton Brown (1995). Dear sister-in-law of Lloyd and Shirley Brown of Simcoe; Ted and Judy Brown of Hamilton, and Helen Brown of Hamilton. She is predeceased by Sanford (Nip) Brown and Grover and Carolyn Brown. Betty will be lovingly remembered and missed by her many nieces, nephews and close friends. She was a Bell Telephone Operator for many years. Betty was a person of great independence who faced challenges with strength and humour. She had a passion of music and was an avid follower of politics and world events. She was devoted to her beautiful gardens and spent many joyful hours there each day. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Betty's life will be celebrated in the spring of 2008. Donations may be made in Betty's memory to the charity of your choice. "Together in life, Together forever"
