Obituary of Francis Dupuis

DUPUIS, Francis (Harold), 69, of St. George, Ontario passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, November 11th, 2012 surrounded by family and loved ones. Harold will always be remembered as a tirelessly devoted husband to Janet, the love of his life. He was such a proud family man; Janine and Andrew were blessed to have him as their father. Harold is predeceased by his parents Diana and Roy, and his sister Joan. He is survived by his sister Gerry. As a family mentor he profoundly impacted the lives of all of those close to him. Harold was a proud and respected member of the Canadian Air Force. He retired after 30 years of service with the rank of Master Warrant Officer. His retirement afforded him the opportunity to pursue his various passions (ham radio, bowling, skating, and carpentry.) Evidence of Harold's woodworking and home improvement skills can be found in the homes of so many of the people he knew and loved. On behalf of Harold, the family expresses their sincere gratitude for the compassionate care provided by CCAC, Stedman Outreach and Bayshore Home Health which allowed him to remain at home in comfort for the majority of his final days. We are also very thankful to the palliative staff at Brantford General Hospital for making Harold as comfortable as possible. We appreciate the prayers and support that Rev. Margaret was able to give to our dad and our family. Friends will be received at Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St. on Thursday November 15 from 2 - 4 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, St. George on Friday, November 16th at 11:00 a.m.
