Obituary of Cameron McNicol

McNICOL, Cameron - It is with great sadness that the family of Cameron McNicol announce his passing on Sunday, September 30th, 2012 in his 91st year. Cameron was the beloved husband of Josephine for over 71 years. Devoted dad of Doug (Karen) McNicol and Carol (John) Phillips. Cherished grandfather of Trevor, Trent, Jacqui and Shay and great-grandfather of Hunter, Cameron, Emily and Alexandria. Predeceased by his parents Annie and Alex McNicol, his sister Jean, and his brothers Alex, Tom and Roy. A long time employee of Brantford Cordage, Cameron later went on start his own businesses, first with McNicol Ropes and later Debleen Plastics. Thank you to Dr. Manning, the nursing staff of the BGH 5th floor C-wing and the 7th floor Palliative Care. At Cameron's request cremation has already taken place. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, on Thursday, October 4th from 1-3 p.m. A Private Family Service will be held at a later time.
