RUSSELL, Violet May - After a courageous battle with cancer, Violet passed away on Monday, September 10th, 2012, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 85th year. Beloved mother of Barbara (Bob) Churchward. Loving grandmother of Becki (Carl), Brad (April), Brad (Shannon) and Scott. Dear great-grandmother of Hudson, Myla, Tyson, Samantha, Parker, Campbell and Kyle. Sister of Donald (June) Russell. Reunited with her brother Samuel and her sister Lily. Violet was a long time employee of the Salvation Army having worked for the Thrift Store for over 31 years. Friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Friday, September 14th, from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
