Condolences
Dear Maggie & Family, Thinking of you at this difficult time. Its hard to find comfort at times when someone is missed so dearly by so many, but take comfort in knowing you have friends that are always there for you during these times.Maggie, the short time that Ive gotten to know you, Ive cherished everything you have taught me and only wished Ive met you many years ago!! You are a rock in your family Im sure!Love, your student & friend, Evelyn
Dear Maggie, George and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family on your huge loss. I worked as you know in Nuclear Medicine for fourteen years and during that time I came to know Colin as one of the sweetest, most humble and modest of men. He was kind always, good humoured always and I saw him as the calm centre of the department. Always approachable he would take time to talk or help no matter how busy he was. George remembers playing soccer on the same team years ago and wishes he had realised that they shared the same love of Jazz. I was so sad and shocked to hear of Colin's death and know that you have lost both your husband and your best friend. May you have great support and love around you in the years ahead from your children, grandchildren and friends. We are as close as a phone call to Dundas. Much love to you from Maggie.
It was a privilege to work with Colin in the area of the occupational health & safety at MUMC. He was the management chair of this committee, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that all workers at the hospital worked in a safe environment. I know that his memory will live on in the members of this committee who worked closely with him during this phase of his work life.
Maggie, As you move through these long days, may you be comforted by those around you who soothe your heart, ease your pain and remind you that you do not mourn alone.
I was very sorry to hear about the death of Colin. I was very fortunate to have worked with him for many years in the Nuclear Medicine dept at MUMC. He was always so cheerful, very kind to the staff and patients and a pleasure to know. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very sad time. He was a gentleman that will be missed by many. Chris Evans
Dear Maggie: My deepest condolences to you and your family. May the peace that comes from all of the good memories you shared with Colin comfort you now and in the days ahead. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Danielle Fox
Dear Margaret, John and Rachel, I heard with sadness of your loss and recall early days in the department of Nuclear Medicine when our families were young, thirty years ago. Wendy Lawson (Kenyon) Laura Kenyon
It has been over 20 years since I last saw Colin Webber (when I was a PhD student and Colin was one of my mentors and examiners). Yet, during these 20 years, he has affected me professionally and personally more than he would have ever believed. I am deeply sorrowed by Colin passing away. I have no doubt he will be missed by all. I feel fortunate for having known him. I wish you no more sorrows.
There are certain people you meet in your life that you will never forget. Dr. Webber will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathies to the Webber family during this difficult time.
Thinking of you, Rachel, and your Mom and John and the rest of your family at this very sad and difficult time. Love to you all...Deb
