Condolences
It is with a heavy heart that I send this condolence. Uncle Romeo will be dearly remebered as a loving and kind hearted man. I cherish some of the fondest childhood memories from summers spent at Aunt Jo and Uncle Romeo's house. My prayers are with the family at this very sad time.
I want to send my sincerest condolences to all of the Shannelly family. He is now in a calming place along side of his love Josephine
I will never forget the smells that wafted from the kitchen of Romeo & Josephine the first time I met them five years ago. When I first began dating Emma (now my wife) and came into the house, there was always a distinct "italian" smell, almost as though a fresh meal had just been prepared ten minutes before you arrived. Even more vivid than this is the readily available fruit and Romeo certainly had no trouble offering it out to you, two, three or four times while you were visiting until you accepted it. Thank you, for the fruits of your labour Romeo God has rewarded you with a place in heaven next to your wife. We will miss you, we love you, God bless you. Sincerely, Matt
Uncle Romeo was great man and I have very fond memories of him, especially as a youngster. His great spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of many people whose lives he has touched. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Condolences to your family on the passing of Romeo. He was always such a happy person with an infectious smile. I remember the "old days" when I delivered the Expositor to Shannelly's grocery store at Erie Avenue & Eagle Ave. in the 40's when the family lived on Huron Street and also going to the ball games when Jo played for Burtol's. Lots of fun times with many good memories. Sincerely, Betty Hurley & Family
