Obituary of Marie Pokonzie

POKONZIE, Marie Joanne - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, May 7, 2012, Marie (nee Overholt) in her 71st year. Dear and loving sister of Shirley Breuls, treasured and adored aunt of Mike, Bob, Kelly and Paul, cherished great-aunt of Sarah, Matthew and Jeannette, and very special aunt of Ri. Predeceased by her mother and father Celia (nee Hedley) and Albert Overholt, and her husband Edward. Buddy sends his kisses. Marie will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. At Marie's request cremation has already taken place. Family and friends will be received at the HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street, on Tuesday, May 15th, 2012, from 1-3 p.m. for a Memorial Visitation. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery to follow. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the paramedics and staff of the Critical Care Unit at Brantford General Hospital for their care and compassion.
