WILKES, Barbara Joan (nee Colling) - After a long battle, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Barbara on February 23rd, 2012 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Tracy and Greg Hover and Patrick and Tanya Wilkes. Cherished grandmother to Tatum and Addison. Dear sister of Doug, Bill, Anne and the late Jean. Barbara retired from Sonoco Ltd. in 2001 where she was an employee for 22 years. She volunteered many years for the Brant Figure Skating Club and the Brantford Church Hockey League. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street, on Saturday, March 3rd, from 12-1 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Donations to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.
