We wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to Uncle Harold’s family, his sons Daryl and Paul and their families. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation and special thanks for their mother Grace who graciously gave of her time to help look after Uncle Harold during his declining health. Living in Nova Scotia we haven’t seen our cousins Daryl and Paul since they were young boys, but we know they have lost a terrific “Dad”. Their Dad was so very proud of his boys, his face would light up with a beaming smile whenever he spoke of them. When we were children growing up in Nova Scotia, we always looked forward to the summertime, which meant visits from our aunts and uncles and cousins from Ontario. Uncle Harold always held a special place in everyone’s heart. Uncle Harold to us was a quiet and kindly man who always met us with a warm smile. He was a man with a very pleasant manner who would always take time to talk to everyone including the children. We will always cherish our fond memories of Uncle Harold.
