With saddened hearts we announce the sudden passing of our dear Father and Poppa, George Brayshaw in his 89th year on Friday, October 27th, 2023. Beloved husband of the late Lois Brayshaw. Wonderful father to Gary and Linda, Shelly and Ken Ramey and Dennis and Patti. Poppa to Jennifer (Mike), Megan (Matt), Sherisse, Natalie (Matt), Nicole (Rob), Chantal (Cole), Casey (Chris), Brody (Alicia) and Dylen. Little Poppa to Bryce, Kash, Kane, Trey, Logan, Brett, Fisher, Hunter, Emerson, Maverick and soon to be baby girl Scottie. Survived by his sister Lois Youmans and Brother Bill Brayshaw of BC. Sister in Laws Theresa Brayshaw, Marg Barrowcliffe, Ruth Barrowcliffe and Brother-in-law Ric (Sharon) Barrowcliffe. George was an avid sports enthusiast. Which meant you could usually find him at a ball park or hockey arena watching his grandkids and now great grandkids playing their sports. They will hold those memories in their hearts forever. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson St., Brantford, 519-752-2543 on Friday, November 3rd, 2023 from 1:00 pm until the service time at 3:00 pm. Service of Remembrance will commence in the chapel at 3:00 p.m. Donations to the Arnold Anderson Sport Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
