SMITH, Nathy (Nathleen) - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Nathy on Thursday, September 29th, 2011 at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 87. She has gone to be with her beloved Norman (1980). They leave behind their daughter Nathleen (Gary), 3 beautiful granddaughters Dallas (Pierre), Fallon (Justin), Jenna and handsome great-grandson Urbain and soon to be born Trenton. Fiercely independent, Nathy was a longtime employee of Weston's Candy Factory and Endress Manufacturing. She was a member of the Brant County Ladies Dart and Bowling Leagues and lifetime member of the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch 90 and the former Ex-Imperial Club. "Get ready Norm, Pat, Eileen and Joyce. There is going to be one heck of a reunion". Friends will be received at the Hill & Robinson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 30 Nelson Street on Monday from 12-1 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. with Reverend Donna Kerrigan officiating. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
