CAMPBELL, Gordon Malcolm "Mal"- Peacefully ushered into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in his 79th year. Mal made Brantford his home, where he married, raised a family and enjoyed his grandchildren. Beloved husband of Rosemary, loving and devoted father of Denise, Sandy, Cathy, Heather (Greg), Angela (Scott) and Shawn (Keziah). Cherished Papa of Deegan, Kadence, Atticus and William. Predeceased by son Gordon; parents Gordon and Rosetta; sisters Dorothy and Anna(Ken); and brother William(Lillian). Mal was a long-time member of Shenstone Baptist Church and was actively involved in church life. While a mechanic by trade, he enjoyed tractors and vintage cars, and was often found puttering in his beloved garage. Time with family and friends enriched his life, but the treasure of his Saviour sustained him through the challenges of his illness. Relatives and friends will be received at HILL & ROBINSON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 30 Nelson Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The celebration of his life will be held at Shenstone Baptist Church (25 St. George Street) on Thursday, May 24 at 1pm (visitation one hour prior to service). Interment to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Shenstone Baptist Church or Stedman Community Hospice would be greatly appreciated. He will be forever in our hearts and memories.
